Great Wolf Lodge officially closed due to COVID-19 concerns on Sunday, March 15th. At the time of closing, the company hoped to open the lodges on April 2nd.  That date has come and gone, and we now have an update on how long Great Wolf Lodge plans to be closed due to the pandemic.

Knowing that people still have reservations, in hopes that things would have lessened up quicker, Great Wolf Lodge has made the decision to stay closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, until June 15, 2020.

Here's the company's official press release:

Brand Statement from Great Wolf Lodge (4.24.2020):

Providing for the health and safety of our guests, pack members, and overall community is our guiding principle at Great Wolf Lodge. With the continued community safety measures instituted by government and health officials in response to COVID-19, it is in the best interest of guests, pack members, and the communities we serve to extend the closure of our resorts through June 15, 2020. As this situation continues to rapidly evolve, we will stay connected with federal and state officials and make modifications toour re-opening timeline as needed.

For any guest with a current reservation within our revised closure period, we will provide a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule their reservation for a future date.

These are challenging times and we appreciate the support of families who have spent time at our resorts over the years. We hope all of our guests are staying healthy and safe, and we look forward to providing families with a fun-filled getaway when we re-open.

Visiting their website answers more questions you have too, especially if you already re-booked your trip, or you're now wanting a refund.  They're also offering nightly credits if you call and reschedule a reservation, to a later date, but you've got to do it before your original scheduled check-in date.
