Group of Hotels in Grand Rapids Hosting Job Fair on Tuesday

One of the industries to be severely affected by the pandemic was the hospitality industry but thankfully there's a semblance of normalcy and people are starting to travel again. With that said, employees are needed once again.

On Tuesday, July 27, AHC Hospitality is holding a job fair to hire 100 people for their six downtown hotels:

AC Hotel
Amway Grand Plaza
Courtyard by Marriott
Hyatt Place
JW Marriott
Morton Hotel

The job fair will be held in the Imperial Ballroom at the Amway from 9a to 6p. They have positions available for immediate start at $14/hour. They've increased the starting wage to try and entice new hires. AHC's career page shows that they have a ton of positions available including:

Front desk
Restaurant jobs (cooks, general manager, host, bartender, etc)
Room attendants
Technicians
Housekeeping
Security
Sales
Valet
Massage therapist

Interviews will be conducted on the spot with the potential to also get hired on the spot. Parking will be available at the Amway and JW ramps. Bring your parking pass to the interview get it redeemed.
