GRPD Says Scam Is Targeting Seniors

If you have a senior citizen in your life, you may want to warn them about this scam that Grand Rapids Police are investigating.

The scam has so far targeted two elderly citizens in the last four weeks, according to Fox 17.

Men are approaching the homes of seniors disguised as contractors. They talk their way into these homes and distract the resident, while the other steals cash and jewelry.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is also investigating similar incidents. If you think you're a victim dial 911.
