Here’s Every State’s Favorite Halloween Candy – Can You Guess Michigan’s?

Halloween is only a few weeks away and everyone is weighing in on what their favorite candy is.

The website Zippia.com used Google Trends to determine what each state preferred when it came to Halloween candy and Michigan's favorite was a candy that they once wrote a whole episode of Seinfeld around.  Yup, you guessed it, Michigan's favorite Halloween candy is Junior Mints.

Michigan and Massachusetts were the two states that had Junior Mints, and that candy was tied for 4th with the most popular.  The most popular candy in article turned out to be Starburst, with 6 states preferring it.  Connecticut and New Hampshire probably had the weirdest preferences with Connecticut loving Peanut Butter Kisses and New Hampshire getting excited over Circus Peanuts.  Really?  Circus Peanuts?  Is that your final answer? Overall, 25 states chose a candy with chocolate and 25 went with a non-chocolate option.
