While I was still looking for a remedy for a toothache this morning, I saw that ABC News received a report that police in Athens, Georgia are trying to figure out who stole about 400,000 toothpicks worth nearly 3K... and why somebody would even want that many tooth picks. It seems that somebody, for sure with some really funky teeth who likes eat a lot of popcorn, took a total of 13 cases of toothpicks from Armond's Manufacturing Company. Each case contained about 288 packages of 100 toothpicks.

Maybe he had a science project or something and he needed a lot of tooth picks for, but police say there were no signs of forced entry so the owner believes a current or former employee might be responsible. In even other odd toothpick heist news, two of the company's employees told the owner they saw a man selling containers of Armond's toothpicks at some flea market last weekend. I will do my best to keep you up to date on the toothpick scandal.
