Police are investigating the attempted abduction of a Hope College student.

WZZM-13 reports that the 19-year old says two men tried to force her into a black SUV on Saturday night.

The student was walking to her dorm, Kollen Hall, around 11:30p.m. when the SUV pulled up next to her and men began yelling at her to get in the car.  When she refused, two men got out and approached her.

The men threatened her and attempted to grab her arm. She struck them and was able to get away.

One suspect is describe as a white male, approximately 20 years old, thin build, medium length brown hair, about 6 feet tall, wearing a black hoodie and jeans. The second suspect is described as a white male, larger build, about 6 feet 1 inch tall, with short brown hair and a large nose, wearing a blue t-shirt with white graffiti on it.
