One of your favorite summer events returns this August at Millennium Park in Grand Rapids.

We can’t wait to welcome you back for a powerful night of racing through the park and coming together to make a difference with the 1 in 5 Marathon Relay.

This year's race proceeds will help those on the front lines who've been dealing with Mental Health issues as we've dealt with the pandemic and its impact on our health.

Untreated mental illness is the most underrated health and social epidemic worldwide. Wherever you live, it’s all around you—and the numbers prove it.

  • One in five adults will face a mental illness in any given year, and that number grows each year.

  • Depression is the #1 cause of illness and disability worldwide.

  • Nearly 60% of mental illness goes untreated.

  • Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death among youth ages 10-24.

  • Preliminary studies point to a significant rise in anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and suicidal thoughts resulting from recent current events.
