Hotwheels, Disney, And Wine - Steve's Daddy Tips (11-13-19)

Hi, I’m Steve and I’m a new Dad who has learned a lot of things over the last several months and I want to pass along some knowledge to you!

Each week I will be giving you some new tips for first-time parents and one spectacular Dad joke! So let's get to the tips!

Today’s first Daddy Tip is for all of those parents of toddlers who love matchbox or Hotwheels cars. Charlotte just took a liking to cars so I was thinking of ways to build her a racetrack and I found the perfect material! Paper towel and toilet paper tubes! You can tape the tubes to each other and boom, you got yourself an awesome track to send your Hotwheels through.
The next Daddy Tip of the week should be a no brainer after yesterday when Fish would not stop talking about Disney Plus. So, go get the week free trial for Disney Plus and binge all of those classics with your little one for free! And now it’s time for the final Daddy Tip of the week, where I am about to tell a story that I am ashamed of so you won’t make the same mistake yourself. The other night when I was cooking dinner, I had a lot going on. I had stuff on the stove, in the oven, I was chopping some veggies, and I was pouring drinks for my family. Well, I poured Charlotte a sippy cup of a juice, I poured myself some water, and I poured Brittainy some wine. The next thing I knew, I was setting the wine on Charlotte’s highchair without even thinking about it. That little girl picked up the glass, proceeded to drink some of the wine, and then spilled all the rest all over herself. I was mortified that I just gave my baby some wine, but it looks like she barely drank much and hated it, so that’s good. So the long and short of it is, pay attention to your adult beverage when you are around your kids. Those little ones will drink anything.
