Two brothers walked into the woods, one brother had to be airlifted out after being shot by the other brother.

According to WOOD, 28-year-pld Marcus Fron from Lowell was shot by his brother while tracking a deer in Boston Township.

Apparently the brothers were hunting together and one them shot a deer. They went to track the deer and that is when the two separated in a corn field. One of the brothers made one of the worst mistakes a hunter can make when he thought he saw and heard the deer, he fired his gun when he wasn't sure if that was the deer then discovered he shot his brother.

Fron had to be airlifted to a hospital in Grand Rapids, where he stayed until Monday when he was released. Fortunately for Fron, he is expected to make a full recovery.

Undersheriff Andrew Bucholtz said, "as horrible as this incident was, it could have been a lot worse. In speaking with the doctor, the guy is expected to make a 100% full recovery."

Cory Malone who lives near where the two brothers were hunting said Fron's brother, "He's beaten himself up enough" with guilt.

Fron's brother has not been charged with a crime but the sheriff's office did mention charges could be filed.

Toxicology tests have been administered to the brothers while the investigation is still pending. Both brothers have been cooperating with the authorities.
