I realize both are highly illegal, but I'm asking for a friend.

The critically acclaimed TV series 'Breaking Bad' hinged on a single question -- would meth users prefer to pay more for a better drug?

If the answer is no, the whole premise of the series, that Walter White's meth was high quality and worth more on the drug market is gone.

I always thought that tweekers wouldn't care as long as it was cheap. It turns out I was wrong.

A 46-year-old guy named Charles Oldham from Bedford, Penn. was arrested last month for selling meth to a police informant.

And it wasn't just ANY meth.  No, Charles said he'd gone to OHIO to get the meth because theirs is better than the local Pennsylvania meth.

The cops raided his house and found marijuana and meth, plus scales and other packaging materials.  He was arrested for felony drug delivery.

So it appears at least one guy thinks people would pay more for quality meth, even it is from Ohio.

I'm not sure how Michigan meth compares to Ohio meth, but I would like to think it is better.

Not that I'll ever know.
