Adopt Your Valentine! Reduced Adoption Fees at More Than 40 Michigan Shelters Starts This Week

Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters February 9-15, 2023
Bissell Pet Foundation is sponsoring reduced adoption fees of $50 or less per animal to help pets find loving homes February 9 through 15, 2023. All dogs and cats will be spayed or neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. This event will be hosted at rescues and shelters statewide.
Since Empty the Shelters began in 2016, the program has helped more than 138,000 animals find homes.
Michigan Shelters Participating in Empty the Shelters
More than 40 locations across Michigan are participating in Empty the Shelters this month.
Shelters include:

- Humane Society of West Michigan - 3077 Wilson Ave. NW, Grand Rapids
- Big Lake Humane Society (The Muskegon Humane Society - 2640 Marquette Ave.
- Harbor Humane Society - 14345 Bagely St., West Olive
- Wishbone Pet Rescue Alliance - 2293 33rd St., Allegan
- Ionia County Animal Shelter - 3835 Sparrow Dr., Ionia
- West Michigan SPCA Dba Faithful to Felines - 2525 Hall Rd., Muskegon
- Al-Van Humane Society - 07591 Blue Star Highway, South Haven
- SPCA of Southwest Michigan - 6955 W KL Ave, Kalamazoo
Empty the Shelters coincides with Humane Society of West Michigan's Long-Stay Love Adoption Special - so senior and long-stay pets are fee waived!
