The nation’s original Donut and Beer Festival is making its sweet debut in Traverse City this summer. It's produced by Outlier Events, the team behind many of Michigan's most buzzed-about food and drink festivals like The Mac and Cheese Fest and the new Pickle Palooza.

The Donut and Beer Fest started in Kalamazoo in 2017 and has been all over the Midwest since then, including multiple stops in Grand Rapids. Over 100,000 people have enjoyed this touring festival, and now Northern Michigan finally gets its turn.

What to Expect

The Donut and Beer Festival is coming to Turtle Creek Stadium, home of the Traverse City Pit Spitters, Saturday, June 13, 2026, 5 to 10 p.m.

You’ll be able to sample more than 200 types of donuts alongside a selection of craft beers, wines, and ciders.

Beyond the tastings, there’s live music, DJs, family zones, yard games, and wrestling matches from the nation’s top micro athletes. Whiskey Friends, the Morgan Wallen tribute band, will perform hits live with a full band.

Tickets and Details

Tickets come in three levels: Platinum ($129), VIP ($59–$69), and General Admission ($39–$49), depending on early entry and alcohol access. Priority list tickets go on sale March 19, and general tickets start April 2. The festival has sold out every year, so get on the list early if you want in.

Whether you’re there for the donuts, the drinks, or just the fun vibes, this is a summer first for Northern Michigan you won’t want to miss.
