The 39 restaurants on their list range from elegant historic spots, to  magical courtyards strung with twinkly lights, to colorful dining rooms filled with artworks. Lovefood.com based their ranking on genuine user reviews, awards and accolades, and on the opinions of their team.

It's Wright & Company in Detroit!

Located in the heart of downtown, Wright and Company has panoramic views of Woodward Ave. Designed by Gordon W. Lloyd, 1500 Woodward was originally built for the F.J. Schwankovsky Company, a retailer of musical instruments. At the time of its completion in 1891, it was one of the first high rises in the area.

Though the Schwankovsky Company went out of business a couple of decades after the building opened,  from 1920 to 1978, the structure was occupied by the Wright-Kay jewelry firm. Over the years it saw many owners and tenants. Listed It is listed on the State of Michigan Historic Register, it opened as Wright and Co. in 2014.

At Wright and Co., James Beard nominated Chef/Partner Marc Djozlija and  Executive Chef Kyle Schutte create seasonal menus around a composed shared plates concept.

For appetizers you'll find homemade smothered potato chips, pork belly sliders, and mushroom pate.

Entrees include Udon Carbonara, Grilled Sea Scallops, Duck, Wild Ahi Crudo, and Bistro Tender.
