Jared Goff to Star in New Season of Netflix’s ‘Quarterback’
After taking a year off, Netflix is bringing back their popular NFL-centered show 'Quarterback' and this year, we'll see a familiar face on our screen.

Detroit Lions' quarterback Jared Goff will be featured in season two, along with two other quarterbacks from around the NFL.
Official Teaser Trailer Released for Season 2 of Netflix's 'Quarterback'
In the official teaser video, released by Netflix on March 19, we're treated to a little bit of a bait and switch before the new players that will be featured are revealed.
The trailer points out that previously, Netflix featured quarterbacks and receivers, and it says that this year, they're focusing on the real stars of the show - mascots.

It's then that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow pops up on screen and asks the question that we're all thinking,
Seriously?
He's followed by Kirk Cousins, who appeared in the first season of the show, asking,
Is this actually the plan?!?
And then, we see a familiar face to fans of the Detroit Lions, quarterback Jared Goff, who points out the obvious:
You know they don't even talk, right?
Cousins then chimes back in and makes the suggestion that the network just do another season of "Quarterback". (A much better idea.)
It's then revealed that Cousins, Burrow, and Goff will all be featured in the upcoming season.
The second season of "Quarterback" on Netflix will drop on the streaming platform in July 2025.
