Jayme Closs Will Get At Least Half Of The Reward Money
Last week there was talk about whether or not Jayme Closs, the Wisconsin teen that was kidnapped for 88 days after her parents were murdered, should get the $50,000 reward money because she freed herself.
The couple who let her in and called 911 after she was able to escape, said they thought the money should go to her for her bravery.
Well, Hormel and Jennie-O Turkey, the company her parents worked for, are working with law enforcement to donate their share of the $50,000 reward money, so $25k, to Jayme Closs, according to WOODTV.
The CEO of Jennie-O Turkey said they hope the money can be put into a trust fund to help Jayme now and in the future, WOODTV reports.
