This year has seemingly moved so fast. I mean, it's nearly Thanksgiving and I think that's astounding. Also astounding is the closing of the John Ball Zoo! Hang on, hang on. They're only closing for the season. You know they do this every year.

The last day the zoo will be open to the public for the year is Sunday, Nov. 21, according to Fox 17.

So, boy, we had better get our last visits in to see all the exciting creatures and wonders of the zoo. For instance, the zoo’s red pandas, tigers, penguins, chimpanzees, bears and more. And, of course, don't forget you can  purchase T-shirts, bags and other zoo gear at the gift shop for you or as gifts for Christmas!

Seven days a week, the John Ball Zoo will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the rest of the season. But, if you add up the days we only have 11-day left until the season ends.

I don't know about you, but strolling through the zoo is so relaxing. They have added so many new wonders, and with so much of it high atop the hills overlooking Grand Rapids, it is very peaceful.

Sadly, there will be some of the animals will be missing. Because of colder weather, many are now in their winter habitats behind the scenes at the zoo, including toucans, flamingos and budgies.

You can always get tickets at the ticket booths at the zoo, but even easier, tickets can be purchased for the zoo online HERE!.
