Seven Detroit Lions Named Among NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2025
It’s almost time for football season, and if there was ever a year for Detroit Lions fans to believe the Super Bowl dream is alive, I truly believe that it’s this one.
The past two seasons have taken the Lions to the brink with heartbreakingly close calls, and now the NFL itself is admitting what fans have been saying: some of the best players in the league wear Honolulu blue.
The NFL just released its list of the Top 100 Players of 2025. This list is voted on by the players themselves, showcasing some of their favorites to play with and against.
This year, seven Detroit Lions earned a spot on the list and bragging rights for the next season.
These Seven Detroit Lions are on the NFL Top 100 List
Penei Sewell (13th on list)
Jared Goff (15th)
Amon-Ra St. Brown (20th)
Jahmyr Gibbs (27th)
Aidan Hutchinson (55th)
Kerby Joseph (71st)
Sam LaPorta (94st)
Of the list of Seven names, three of them even cracked the top 20, showing just how much respect the Lions are commanding around the league amongst their fellow players. Surely we can take that as a good sign of the season to come? (Let me have my high hopes.)
With the season kickoff right around the corner, it's looking like the lions are trying to take another swipe at the Super Bowl.
Detroit isn’t just hoping for a big season. They’re building one, player by player. And if this roster is any indication, the Super Bowl might finally be within reach.
