I need to tell you what a big deal this is. After watching Zac Brown Band light up the Sphere in Las Vegas in December, they are officially bringing that energy back to Grand Rapids.

And yes, I flew from Grand Rapids to Vegas to catch opening night. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Zac Brown Band just announced their Love and Fear U.S. tour (presented by Margaritaville at Sea) and the very first stop is Grand Rapids. The tour kicks off Friday, July 17 at Van Andel Arena, making West Michigan the starting point for a 27 show run across the country.

And just as some insider information that you may not believe, if you missed the Sphere shows, you may have actually lucked out.

While it’s absolutely something everyone should experience, the Sphere can be a little overwhelming in the best possible way. The visuals were massive, immersive, and emotional. At times it felt less like a concert and more like being dropped inside a story. It was easily one of the most incredible live music experiences I have ever had.

And while Van Andel Arena does not have a wraparound screen the size of a planet. But what Zac Brown Band proved in Vegas is that they are thinking bigger than ever with their live show, and without a doubt, that creativity is coming with them on the road.

This tour comes on the heels of their critically acclaimed eighth studio album, Love and Fear, which marks a new chapter for the band. The music blends their roots driven sound with deeper storytelling and ambitious production.

Those themes of resilience, gratitude, and connection were front and center in Vegas. According to the band, fans can expect a dynamic setlist that mixes the hits everyone knows with newer material, covers, and a few surprises along the way. Zac Brown himself summed it up best.

Grand Rapids should be ready for a show that looks and feels bigger than what we have seen from them before. If you want to be a part of it, the local presale begins Thursday, January 29. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, January 30 at 10 a.m. through VanAndelArena.com.

Don’t miss out on being one of the first to see what will likely be one of the top country tours of 2026.

The Zac Brown Band opened their Love & Fear residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas on 12/5. The pictures that came in are so epic they almost look like they aren't real -- but they are.
