Detroit Lions Take Center Stage in New Madden 26 Reveal

Since the Detroit Lions disappointing exit from the playoffs last year, I've been counting down the days until the new season arrives.

I've been following along on Aidan Hutchinson's incredible rehab and recovery from last year's leg injury against the Dallas Cowboys.

I'm excited about the talented players Lions GM Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell picked up in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Recently there was some more football news involving the Lions and arguably one of the greatest video games of all time, Madden.

Detroit Lions' Prominent Role in Madden 26

EA Sports just released a trailer for Madden 26 and it's got football fans like myself excited for the latest installment..

In the trailer for Madden 26 several key Detroit Lions are featured on screen.

The first two people we see are Lions QB Jared Goff and head coach Dan Campbell discussing the next play they're going to run.

Then in the next clip we see Jared Goff drop back and throw a pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown who catches it for a touchdown followed by his incredible headstand celebration.

When Can You Buy Madden 26

Madden 26 will be released on August 14, 2025.

But you can pre-order the game now to receive early access, bonus content, and other benefits.

Until then I'm going to keep watching this trailer over and over and over again.
