Man Changes His Name to ‘Bacon Double Cheeseburger’
"What's in a name?"
Well, it's our name. It's what people know us by. It sticks with us forever. Unless, of course, you change it.
And that's exactly what 33-year-old Simon Smith, of London did. He seems to have a pretty legit name, right? So why did he change it? The Evening Standard reports:
He told the Sunday People: “A name is the least important part of your personality. It’s given to you by someone else.”
Simon decided to change his name to Bacon Double Cheeseburger. No joke. His legal name is now Bacon Double Cheeseburger. I guess that should say a lot about his personality, now.
But, why?! Because it was the first thing he came up with. And one can only assume he really really likes Bacon Double Cheeseburgers.
He told the Evening Standard that he may need to change his name again, in the future, as his fiance isn't happy with his new name. Can you blame her?!
Mr. Cheeseburger isn't the only one to change his name. In the U.K., over 85,000 people changed their names last year. Including one man who changed his name to 'Happy Birthday.'
Do you know anyone who has changed their name?
