If you ever thought you got a ticket for something ridiculous, this takes it to another level.

Metro is reporting that a man in Austria received a ticket earlier this month because he burped too loudly in front of a police officer. Who knew you could get a ticket for something like that?! Well, apparently you can.

Edin Mehic, had just finished eating a kebab when he let out the loud belch. Clearly he was in the wrong place at the wrong time because a nearby cop fined him for it. His offense stated:

‘public decency with a loud belch next to a police officer’.

You've got to be kidding me.

The ticket cost Mehic 70 euros which is the equivalent to about $77.

According to Metro a flashmob has now been planned for this Saturday where people are vowing to burp very loudly in that same spot the man was given a ticket. The event on Facebook shows that more than 500 people are interested in partaking.

What dumb thing did you get in trouble for?
