For each watermelon mint margarita sold through Sept. 26 Condado will donate $1 to support ArtPrize. It's their "Margs 4 Art" drive. Tina Femeyer, the general manager of Condado Tacos GR told WOOD TV,

"Condado has always incorporated art into all of its locations. Every single one of our stores has floor to cleaning mural and graffiti-style art that is done by local artists. We feel like that gives us an opportunity to kind of give back to the community and create a little bit more excitement and uniqueness."

She added that the program allows the company to not only benefit local artists but also incorporate in the community, giving them an opportunity to give back. Condado's goal is to raise $50,000 between all of the locations.

Condado Tacos is located on the ground floor of Bridge Street Lofts. They are a sponsor of ArtPrize and have their own art installation on the back patio that you can check out once the competition begins. The Condado Tacos website says,

"Condado Tacos is committed to supporting the arts in
the communities we serve and empowering a new
generation of budding artists."

ArtPrize runs Sept. 16 through Oct. 3. ArtPrize is an open, independently organized international art competition. For 18 days, art is exhibited throughout the city in public parks and museums, in galleries and vacant storefronts, in bars and on bridges. ArtPrize awards $450,000 directly to artists.
