The end of September means the arrival of fall, cooler temperatures, and leaves changing colors. It is also still a great time for festivals in the West Michigan area. Here is a list of over ten different festivals to check out the final couple of weeks of September 2022!
Thursday, September 15-Sunday, September 18, 2022 - Heritage Landing, Muskegon, MI
The Michigan Irish Music Festival returns for four days of outstanding live music, culture, Irish food, beverages, and entertainment. The festival will feature over 25 bands. More information is available on the Michigan Irish Music Festival Facebook page.
Thursday, September 15-Sunday, October 2, 2022 - Downtown Grand Rapids, MI
For 18 days, art is exhibited throughout the city in public parks and museums, in galleries and vacant storefronts, in bars and on bridges. ArtPrize awards $450,000 directly to artists, through grants to support their ambitious work and through prizes which you can help decide through the ArtPrize website. Friday, September 16-Saturday, September 24, 2022 - Grand Haven Central Park, Grand Haven, MI
The Hispanic Heritage Fiesta will highlight Latin American cultures in all their rich variety and pay tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society -- particularly the Tri-Cities area. Fiesta goers will enjoy live music and dance performances on the stage while dancing in the street and park. Food vendors and trucks will serve authentic cuisine in Central Park. The beer tent will feature margaritas and mojitos along with a beer selection. Youth and kids' activities will be hosted in Central Park. Friday, September 23-Saturday, September 24, 2022 - Celebration Cinema, Studio Park, Grand Rapids, MI
Confluence is a multi-dimensional festival that explores what’s possible when art, music, science and technology converge. The festival presents a range of experiential programming, including a robotics expo, e-sports tournament, maker expo, thought series and art takeovers. Thursday, September 22-Saturday, September 24, 2022 - Fremont, MI
The Festival is one one time of year dedicated to antique tractors, simple games and a parade full of farm equipment. The parade will feature over 120 entries. Hay Art also continues to grow with an average between 50 to 60 creations that are located throughout the community. Be sure to enjoy the Harvest Festival Grand Parade on Thursday, Pumpkin bowling, Antique tractor show and Saturday Fun day in the Park which will feature multiple kids games and activities!
