Calling all job seekers! The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hiring and people are needed all around the state.

The virtual job fair will be held Tuesday, October 6 from 6:30p-8p and you will be able to meet one-on-one with employers about various positions.

MDOT has partnered with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity to give prospective candidates a chance to engage with MDOT staff, ask questions, and learn about current and future career opportunities through chat and video conversations.

Seasonal and permanent positions are available with the potential of some of the seasonal ones turning full-time.

100 positions are needed for winter maintenance workers; all skill levels are allowed to attend. The minimum requirement for this is to have a Michigan Class B CDL. All other training will be provided.

Other jobs range include electricians, transportation engineers, transportation maintenance workers, technicians, skilled trades, professional positions, and more. Internships are even available. You can see all the available jobs along with salary here.

The job fair is open to all experience levels.
