Merry Christmas – There’s a Baby Penguin at the Saginaw Zoo
Her name is Gobbles and we just can't even.
The Saginaw Children's Zoo has announced the birth of a little baby penguin, who hatched just before Thanksgiving.
Gobbles is the baby of Robben and Petey, two of the zoo's African penguins. She's the second African penguin to be born there - last year, the zoo's first ever endangered African penguin, Amahle, was born there. She's now at the Como Zoo in Minnesota and is full-grown.
Zookeepers say that Gobbles is healthy and DNA testing has revealed that it's a girl. Dangit, Gobbles! Just when we thought that NOTHING could be cuter than baby Yoda...
