Farmer’s Almanac Says Michigan’s Summer Could Be A Real Scorcher
The Farmers' Almanac is an annual American periodical that has been in publication since 1818. It provides long-range weather predictions for the U.S. and Canada.
In addition to weather forecasts, it also includes calendars and articles on topics like full moon dates, folklore, natural remedies, and the best days for outdoor activities.
The publishers claim the Farmers' Almanac is 80-85% accurate, though independent analyses have found the accuracy to be around 50%
What Does The Old Farmer's Almanac Say About Michigan's Upcoming Summer?
Things don't look great for this summer, the Old Farmer's Almanac is forecasting a crazy mix of weather.
We can expect hot and rainy conditions.
Part of the reason for crazy weather is the influence of an El Niño weather pattern, which can disrupt typical weather patterns across the United States.

When you look at the NOAA Storm Prediction Center you see that Michigan is expected to have unseasonably warm temperatures.
I'd have no problem if all of these weather forecasts were wrong and we could enjoy a summer full of sunshine and temps in the 80's.
