I guess this tree takes "All I want for Christmas, is my two front teeth" a little too literally.

Preservation Dental in Northville, Michigan started a Christmas tradition a few years ago that to the average passerby, could be seen as nightmare fuel. To the town itself, it's a creative way for a local business to celebrate what they do while celebrating the holiday season.

And yes, the tree is "made" entirely of teeth. 1,111 of them to be exact.

I'm going to be honest, out of context- this feels like it would make a great addition to a horror movie over a beloved holiday decoration.

How did the Teeth tree in Northville, Michigan become a tradition?

According to ClickOnDetroit In 2016, the teeth were commissioned to be made by a company here in Michigan to recreate a photo of alcohol being dumped out of a Detroit window during the prohibition for Northville’s art week.

After the event was over, they found themselves with 4,000 teeth and no idea what to do with them. So, they reached out to the community asking for ideas. That's when in 2020, the office's staff came up with an idea to create a holiday tree with them. 1,111 teeth later, and this nightmare was born.

It's kind of adorable when they light it up.

Okay, it's not really a nightmare as much as it is a playful reminder to brush your teeth after you eat all of those holiday sweets. After all, you'd hate to ask Santa to bring you a crown next Christmas. (Although, at least you now know the perfect place to get it done.)
