
Michigan Residents Get Ready For Your Energy Bill To Go Up
You don't have to be an economist or have a four-year degree in finance to notice that the costs of things keep going up.
Now that summer is almost here, people in Michigan will face another cost increase: high energy bills.
The National Energy Assistance Directors Association believes that energy costs could increase across the United States this summer.

For us here in the Midwest, it's even worse with a projected increase of 13 to 18 percent from last year.
Why Are Energy Costs Going Up?
Depending on who you ask you'll get a range of answers, but there are several things that can always have an impact on energy costs here in Michigan and around the world.

- Fossil fuel prices
- Global supply and demand
- Global conflicts
- Impact of climate change.
- Inflation
- Supply chain disruptions
All of those factors listed above are things that you and I have absolutely no control over.

So instead of sitting back and being upset about how much money we have to spend on higher energy costs, we could do ourselves a favor and take every step possible to find ways that will help control and possibly reduce our growing energy costs.
