That kind of moment happened recently in a Michigan town when someone snapped a picture of a man riding his bike early in the morning.

This wasn't your typical bike ride, the mystery man was completely naked.

Michigan Man Caught On Camera Riding His Bike Buck Naked

On Wednesday May 22nd just before 7:00 am a man was spotted riding a bike completed naked in St. Clair Shores.

The man was seen along Jefferson Avenue near Masonic.

St. Clair Shores Police Chief Jason Allen said that officers were unable to located the naked cyclist.

Thankfully there were no other reports of the naked cyclist.

Is It Against The Law To Ride A Bike Naked In Michigan?

Michigan does not have a statewide law prohibiting public nudity or riding a bike naked specifically.

The Michigan Vehicle Code also does not expressly prohibit operating a bicycle without clothing.

However, Michigan does have a law (MCL 750.335a) that prohibits "open or indecent exposure of his or her person or of the person of another." Whether riding a bike naked would constitute indecent exposure depends on the specific circumstances and is left to the discretion of local prosecutors.

So while not outright illegal statewide, this nude dude could potentially be charged with indecent exposure for riding a bike naked, especially if his genitals were visible and it is deemed an intentional act to offend others.
