Concern Grows After Two Michigan Teens Found Sleeping Outside In The Elements
Residents on Detroit's west side are expressing growing concern for two teenagers who have reportedly been sleeping on their porch since the summer.
As temperatures have plummeted, neighbors fear for the boys' safety, prompting calls to both police and Child Protective Services (CPS) for assistance.

Kiarra Collins, a local resident, has been particularly vocal about her worries telling Fox 2 Detroit:
"It hurts every night to go to sleep knowing these kids are out here."

She claims that the boys have been using the porch as a sleeping area since at least mid-summer, when temperatures were in the 80s and 90s, now they have dropped to below freezing, raising concerns about their well-being.
Another neighbor, Zaneta Taylor, echoed similar thoughts, saying that she often sees the teenagers wandering at night.
"They need to be placed somewhere safer because they’re never indoors."
Is Anything Being Done About This?
Despite multiple reports to law enforcement and CPS, little has changed regarding the boys' situation.
The Detroit Police Department has acknowledged the allegations and is actively investigating.
They are working to engage with the parents and assess the circumstances surrounding the teens' living conditions.
The police have indicated that any evidence of negligence will be thoroughly examined.

This situation gained even more attention after a Facebook Live video went viral, showing one of the boys on the porch. The conversation starts around the 4:15 mark.
I'm curious to see what Detroit Police and CPS find as they look further into this sad situation.
