Move To THIS West MI Town If You Want A Great Place To Raise A Family!

West Michigan continues to top lists regarding Michigan and great places to live.

Wallethub.com just compiled a list of the best (and worst, I guess if you look at the end of the list that way,)places in Michigan to raise a family.  The used the following criteria:

• Family Incomes
• Affordability of housing
• Quality of the Schools
• Playgrounds

Based on this, East Grand Rapids came in #2 on the list, just behind Rochester. Here’s the top 10 according to Wallethub.com:

3. Beverly Hills

4. Novi

5. South Lyon

6. Grosse Pointe Woods

7. Troy

8. Forest Hills

9. Birmingham

10. Ann Arbor

Other cities around the area landed far below the top 20:

Allendale came in #33, Jennison’s #38, Grandville #45, Grand Haven #51, Kentwood #55, Wyoming #56, Walker #59 and Grand Rapids came in at #65. Comstock Park ranked the lowest of West Michigan towns at #92.
