File it under 'should have happened a long time ago' news. MTV has finally figured out that they should probably make a show about saving your virginity.

We all know that MTV has a huge influence on the younger generation of teens and young adults. Shows like 'Jersey Shore' and the 'Teen Mom' franchise sometimes glamorize behavior that can get young people in trouble quick.

The 'Teem Mom' franchise has been acclaimed by some and slammed by others. Most say the show only shows a few sides of what it's like to be a teen parent. However, MTV says they've tried to portray teen pregnancy and parenting as best as they can. They're just hoping young people can take a lesson and try to prevent themselves from getting pregnant.

Enter: A SHOW ABOUT STAYING A VIRGIN. Um, hello? Couldn't they have thought of this a long time ago?

Instead of showing young people who are already in a tough situation MTV will now show young people who are making the choice to keep it IN their pants.

The show will portray 18-25 year old's who are remaining abstinent for various reasons. It has yet to be titled.
