Looking to get new ink? A new tattoo shop is coming to downtown Grand Rapids.

Eagle Eye Tattoo will open soon at 343 Division Avenue South.

According to Fox 17, owners and Dena Bouwknegt and Jay Kush had been searching for a space downtown and the building's owner Dwelling Place, had been looking for the right business to help "activate" the area.

Commercial real estate brokers Colliers West Michigan connected the two.

Jay is a local tattoo artist who's worked in shops in West Michigan for the last 20 years. You can check out his work here.

Dena tells Fox 17 about the space for Eagle Eye Tattoo, “Once we saw the inside of the space, we knew it was perfect for us. It has a smaller, more intimate vibe and it’s exactly what we were looking for. It’s pretty perfect.”

They say Eagle Eye Tattoo will open sometime in the next month. Due to the ongoing pandemic, appointments will need to be pre-scheduled.
