This morning a woman from Niles is finally free on bond after spending a whopping 11 days in jail (including Christmas). The reason she had to sit in the slammer, cursing in the court room. According to the woman, LaRue Ford she attended court in late December to try to clear up a $50 traffic ticket. When the judge would not bend on her case LaRue became pretty upset with the situation and uttered a curse word as she left the court room that day. The judge took note of her information and had LaRue arrested when she returned to the courthouse to pay her ticket a few days later.

This morning however, LaRue is finally out on bond. Another situation that has been giving her a lot of grief. LaRue Ford is currently in the process of moving out of state to Indiana and does not currently have a "permanent" address. Usually citizens of Michigan only need to pay 10% of their bond (In this case LaRue would have had to pay $500 of her $5,000 bond) but since she didn't have an address here any more she would have needed to get the entire $5,000. The judge finally lowered it yesterday and LaRue was free to go.
