One of downtown Grand Rapids hottest new restaurants and bars is nestled in across the street from Van Andel Arena in the former Wahlburgers location on Ionia.

The new spot is a sister location to it's next door neighbor, Social Misfits. The Foolery is a pizzeria with a lot of attitude, and they're hoping to be your after concert spot. So, in order to better accommodate those who want to enjoy a late night bite in downtown Grand Rapids (a thing that is nearly impossible since most restaurants close by 9pm near the Arena) they're shifting their hours on April Fools Day (no joke!)

The Foolery announced that they plan to be open from 4 pm to midnight on Monday through Thursday and then  from 4 pm to 1 am on Fridays. They still plan to offer lunch hours on weekends, now opening from 11 am to 1 am Saturdays,  and 1 pm to 9 pm on Sundays.

They plan to continue to serve food until 2 hours before close each night, so if you're walking out of that concert or game, you still have an option to eat once you leave Van Andel's doors.

And of course to honor their. namesake of "Foolery", they'll be hosting a special event on the first day of their new hours. On Monday, April 1st cocktail creator Lauren Paylor O’Brien of Netflix’s “Ultimate Drink Master” will be at The Foolery and Social Misfits throughout the day for an industry class, a giveaway and a pop-up drink menu.

This move in hours will hopefully had a little more life and 'foolery' to late nights in Downtown Grand Rapids, so make sure you check them out the next time you need a late night bite (or drink)
