A couple of Hudsonville teens are big time trouble today after they stole an 18-wheeler and went for a little ride.

FOX 17 reports that a 16-year-old boy is in detention in Ottawa County this morning for the theft of the truck, while his 14-year-old companion has been released to the custody of his parents (which could be a worse fate) after their two county joyride was brought to a halt by Sheriff's Deputies.

The duo allegedly stole the truck from a business on Corporate Grove in Hudsonville. Employees tracked the truck using a GPS device, and notified deputies who chased the truck through Ottawa and Allegan counties before finally stopping the truck with a spike strip.

The truck drove off the road in a residential neighborhood in Hudsonville off of 48th Avenue. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
