Pedestrian Killed in Traffic Accident on Hall Street Over 131

A traffic accident on Hall street between US-131 and Buchanan has killed a pedestrian and left Hall Street closed for an accident investigation, WOOD-TV reports.

Police told WOOD-TV a lineman was setting up construction equipment on the east side of Hall Street over US-131 when a car driving eastbound hit the worker and killed him.

The accident happened just about 11:30 according the GRPD Sgt. that talked to WOOD-TV. They also reported the driver of the car was still on the scene being questioned as of 12:30 pm.

Police ask that you avoid the area.  WOOD-TV says that you can still get on 131 westbound Hall St.
