Photoshop App Scam Plagues Facebook

Surprise, surprise. Another fake Facebook app that will hack your account! It's always amazing to me the amount of people that will click on bogus links and end up with an infected page. However, this new scam is pretty tricky.

According to an article by the Huffington Post, this new scam sends you a Facebook chat message, making it look like it's coming from one of your friends. The chat message reads "hey, i just made a photoshop of you," and includes a link. That link brings you to an application installation window. If you happen to allow the app to be installed, it automatically gains access to your Facebook information (name, gender, photos, networks, lists of friends, user ID, and more), as well as access to your Facebook Chat.
