Each year, the Lowell community supports Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids and its Lowell Clubhouse through the annual Pink Arrow Game. This year, due to COVID-19, there is a twist to the annual event. Fans will be limited during tomorrow's, Friday’s (Sept. 25) game against Northview, but that doesn't mean it will be less fun.

In August, as part of the Pink Arrow Game’s fundraising efforts on Community Day, a blood drive was held with Versiti Blood donating for each person attempting to give blood. Official 2020 Pink Arrow Game T-shirts were also sold at Community Day. Two 2020 t-shirts in a vehicle will allow entry into the drive in. This will include designated parking spaces to view a big screen live stream of the game. Cost to attend the drive-in viewing of the game is $40 per car if t-shirts are not being worn. T-shirts are available for purchase at the fairgrounds and are available at participating retailers in the Lowell community, including: including Fans in the Stands, Red Barn Market, Heidi’s Farmstand and MI Hometown Furnishings.

Gilda’s Club Lowell will be the recipient of a check presentation being made during the game. This is the 13th year of the Pink Arrow game. Donations made to Gilda’s Club, through the Pink Arrow game, support the organization’s free cancer and grief support programs offered through the Lowell Gilda’s Clubhouse.
