Poll: Do Parents Take The Easy Way Out?

Earlier today we had a caller who said they think that "Parents don't want to parent, they just want to take the easy way out." What do you think?

The conversation stemmed from a story about a boy getting his hair buzzed off by his school. He had a "distracting" design shaved into it and the school took action and got rid of it before notifying the parents. This sparked a pretty heated debate on our show about parenting. One of our callers said that parents take the "easy way out" when it comes to parenting. So, what do you think? Do parents these days take the easy way out?
