Sabrina Serves Strawberry Shortcake At Rosa Parks Circle!
Roll up your sleeves, strap on a big bib and dig into a fresh slice-o-strawberry shortcake!!
Today is the annual Kiwanis of Grand Rapids North Strawberry Shortcake Fest for Kids downtown Grand Rapids at Rosa Parks Circle from 11a.m. to 2p.m.!
Come with $5 and leave with a bowl full of berries, ice cream, shortcake and whipped cream! If you like you can mix it up and go with all berries or nix the cake and slather some berries over a couple-o-scoops of ice cream! Mmmmmm.
In between talking on-the-air, I'll be scooping out some sort of strawberry delight prepared by the Kiwanis Club over a homemade shortcake to help raise money for six local kids' charities including DeVos Children's Hospital and Kids' Food Basket!
