For this week's Daddy Tips, Steve has a couple of warnings for parents so they don't have to deal with the same problems that he has had to deal with recently.

  1. This week’s first Daddy Tip is to try to record your kiddo singing their favorite pop songs because they will get most of the words wrong and it will be hilarious to play back to them one day. Charlotte’s new favorite song is Bad Habits by Ed Sheeran and it is adorable when she sings it. It will be cute as heck and will surely embarrass her in the future.
  2. The next Daddy Tip is to always pack way more diapers than you need when you take your baby out for the day. Over the weekend we took the kids and met up with some family for the day and ended up staying much longer than we anticipated. And of course, we ran out of diapers for our baby Izzy and she had to wear a wet diaper the entire 45 minute car ride home. Luckily for us, she didn’t have a blowout, but the poor baby did have to sit in a wet diaper for longer than we would have liked. So, don’t be like us and make sure you load up on the diapers before you take a day trip just in case you stay longer than you think.
  3. And the final Daddy Tip this week is to not let your kid play in your car unsupervised. This seems like a no brainer, but my daughter Charlotte loves playing in the car. She will pretend to drive, buckle her stuffed animals into the seat, or just listen to the radio. Well, I made the mistake of letting her play in the car while I was cleaning up in the garage and she did something that is going to cost me. She put some spare change I had in the cup holder into the CD player and now my radio is broken. I quickly learned my lesson and wanted to warn other parents to not let your kiddos play in the car without extreme supervision. No more music in my whip, I guess!

And now it’s time for an awesome Dad Joke!

Q: What did the digital clock say to the grandfather clock?
A: Look, grandpa! No hands!
