Sitting in an Ohio Waffle House with friends at 11 p.m. on a Saturday night, I can't imagine another place I'd rather be. This begs the question: What do you miss about life before you met your love?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to rip on relationships. I think love is great, but love does bring sacrifices, just like being single does.

This came to light last Saturday night when I was having drinks with some of my friends down in Toledo. The three of us are single, all late 20s on up, and have known each other for about 10 years now. In the last 10 years we've each been involved with other people, and we've seen each other at some pretty high and low points.

After all these years of looking for love, trying to find love, scoring and striking out, we all agreed on something. We all agreed that this single thing isn't so bad. Yeah, there are times when it sucks, but we all agreed it's been great to be able to do our own thing.

Shortly after, we took advantage of this newly realized freedom and walked across the parking lot to grab some Waffle House food.

To those involved with another person: What do you miss about single life?

To those still single: What WOULD you miss most about single life?

While you think about it, check out that Seinfeld clips above, good stuff!
