What Is The State Dog For Michigan?
When I was in school I remember learning that the Robin was the state bird for Michigan.
And that the state's stone is the Petoskey stone.
Some other symbols of Michigan include:
Michigan State Fish - Trout
Michigan State Mammal - White-Tailed Deer
Michigan State Reptile - Painted Turtle
The state of Michigan seems to have an official symbol for almost every animal except dogs.

What Should The State Dog For Michigan Be?
There are so many breeds of good boys and good girls but if I had to pick one to represent the state of Michigan I would go with a mutt.
While the word "mutt" can have a negative connotation, it simply means that the dog's parents were not registered and both parents are not of the same breed.
My two dogs Benny and Paddy are mutts and I wouldn't have it any other way.
What dog should represent Michigan? let me know.
