Steve Needs Your Tips – Steve’s Daddy Tips (4-21-21)

This week's Daddy Tips is very special because Steve needs your help with a problem he just can't solve.  His daughter Izzy has refused to sleep in her crib lately and now he needs you to give him tips on how to remedy this situation.

1. This week’s first Daddy Tip is all about baby drool. My daughter Izzy is teething and that means that she is spilling buckets of drool out of that little mouth of hers. So, we discovered these cute little baby bandanas that snap around her next and soak up all that drool so she isn’t soaking wet by the end of the day. I highly recommended picking up those baby bandanas or using a bib to soak up the spittle, because drooling can get pretty gross if you don’t address it.
2. The next Daddy Tip is to check out your local libraries for arts and crafts projects. The local library near my house has free art projects that you can take home with you after you visit. Last week, we got this awesome kit to make a dragonfly magnet that came with a popsicle stick, some buttons, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, and a magnet. The whole project only took less than 10 minutes to make but Charlotte loved every minute of it and she’s very proud of her new magnet. So check out your local libraries for fun arts and crafts projects.
3. And the final Daddy Tip this week isn’t a tip at all, instead I need tips from you. Last week I talked about how my infant daughter doesn’t like sleeping in the crib anymore and how she will only sleep in her bouncy chair. Well, this has really messed up the sleeping in our house because one person has to sleep on the couch right next to her. So, we need your help. Please, please give me tips and tricks on how to get my daughter to sleep in the crib again. She will only sleep in it for about 30 to 45 minutes before waking up crying and needing to be rocked back to sleep.
