Storms Blow Through West Michigan, Damage Done
A quick but powerful storm moved through West Michigan Wednesday night causing damage and power outages across West Michigan.
WOOD-TV reports that 50,000 people are without power. Consumers Energy says they crews assessing the damage and restoring power as quickly as possible. Keep with power outages through the interactive map courtesy of Consumers Energy.
GRPD and GRFD are currently on multiple scenes of damage to property and nature. Officials urge caution when traveling anywhere within the storm area. Currently downtown Grand Rapids and suburbs are without power.
