Super Dad Races Home, Flips Car, Then Runs Half-Mile to Save Family

A father in Maryland recently showed how much he loves his family after racing home to save them from a house fire.

Carlos Pettigrew was at a parent-teacher conference when he got a frantic call from his daughter, the house was on fire!

Carlos jumped in his SUV and sped home. Unfortunately he took a turn too fast and flipped the vehicle! This didn't stop Carlos though! He left his car and ran a half mile to his home.

Luckily Carlos found his kids were okay and firefighters even saved the pets. Carlos was taken to the hospital due to injuries cause by, not the car accident, the half mile run!

Now that's a good father!
