Who is ready for a road trip? Cedar Point is officially open for the season with some COVID protocols in place.

The opening will include a new ride and the opening day of Frontier Festival.

Since opening earlier this month, Cedar Point has been requiring guests to make reservations ahead of time, as part of the park's COVID-19 safety procedures. That changed Tuesday, July 21, as the park announced on Twitter that reservations were no longer required.

Despite the park being closed, Cedar Point is not letting the holiday pass by without celebrating.
