The annual tree lighting ceremony is December 6 at Grand Rapids Art Museum.
The lighting will be followed by the opening of ice skating at Rosa Parks Circle!

"Meijer Free Tuesdays" means everyone can enjoy free admission every Tuesday at the Grand Rapids Art Museum!
A fun-filled evening for the family is planned for November 30th to kick off the holiday season in Rosa Parks Circle. A few of downtown's most popular holiday events (the GRAM Tree Lighting, the opening of Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink, and the free horse-drawn carriage rides) will be combined to make it into an event to truly kick off the holiday season in Grand Rapids.
If Easter travel doesn't take you too far this weekend, there will be a great opportunity for some affordable family time on Saturday and Sunday in Grand Rapids.
Grand Rapids Art Museum and Frederik Meijer Gardens will both have free admission for Bank of America and Merrill Lynch customers this weekend.
