As you enjoy the long Memorial Day weekend, take time to honor and remember those who have died while serving our country. West Michigan will be holding dozens of parades, memorial services, and other activities over the next several days.

Over the years I have learned that grilling out is serious business -- especially to guys! Apparently there is a list of rules that is floating around the internet and I'm wondering how accurate it is ... so take a peak and let me know if you agree, disagree or have more to add!

Camping is a new tradition in my family -- how about yours? I remember taking trips to Cedar Point to camp out with cousins for an annual reunion of sorts.  As of last year, part of my family has decided to get a tent and 'rough it' a little more than usual.

Once we get past today's rain and storms it looks like we'll have a dry Memorial Day.  Hot and humid with a high of 90...but at least we'll have sunshine.
